Time Flies

November 24, 2008   Filed Under: Life, School, Site   175 words

So, this week has been farther weird. I have a sick family member, and finals are getting closer and closer. So, I’ve been helping the family and trying to cram tons of assignments, papers, and studying into a short period of time. I have less time to do so now, but I’m crossing my fingers I can get it all done. And, I’m thinking of changing majors in college. If I do, the degree won’t be as prestegious. But, I can’t see going for as long as I was and feeling like there’s no end in site. If I do, I will graduate next year instead. I’m going to do that because with the way the world is today, it seems a more prudent course of action. Anyways, enough ranting lol. I plan on changing this header/color scheme in the next couple of weeks. I’m sure it’s getting old, but I have to get inspired. WIth everything going on, it’s hard do. I’ll let you know. And, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Too Much Work, Too Little Fun

November 14, 2008   Filed Under: Uncategorized   149 words

I haven’t blogged in awhile because I was stressed and had too much to do. But, I decided a good way to distress would be to blog, lol. So, I got some of that list done. I’m still working on a couple of things, then more gets added. Down but not out. I’m still working on it. I made a great grade on that test I thought I’d done bad on. Not that I didn’t know it like I said. But, it was just one of the hardest. Thanksgiving’s coming up. Debating as to whether I have the time and creativity to put up a holiday layout. I’ll see. I’m definitely thinking Christmas for sure. I love the holidays. I can’t have a tree because my cat likes to play with and lose all the ornaments, but maybe I can decorate here. Anyways, I’ll see what I can do.

Elections are Interesting

November 5, 2008   Filed Under: Life, Online, Personal, Rant, School   291 words

I know you guys already know who one for President of the United States, lol. And, I promise I won’t go into who won and why I did or didn’t like him. But, I will say that this has been one of the most interesting elections to say the least. Not that I remember that many, lol. I remember the hanging chads of the last one and vaguely something about the first. But I mean, with allegations of voter fraud and scandal seem to show up every day. And, considering we made history with the first African American president in history here, it’s definitely memorable to say the least. Please don’t email me or tag me asking who I am for because I will ignore it (ok, maybe politely say I don’t want to answer, lol). But, it’s one of those thing in which you can’t wait to see what someone will say and do next. And, I’ve seen a wide range of emotions from partying to sadness. It’s weird how everyone can look at the same thing so differently. Go figure.

Anyways, I have the day off Friday. Here’ s my To Do List. It’s not too long I don’t think. But, I will be busy lol.

-reinstall fanupdate to Toxic Kiss Awards
-code a layout for Dreams Await and put up
-create at least 2 walls -create at least 2 premades (I’m doing a mini site off of my art site for designs, and it will be mostly premades)
-finish the rough draft for a paper (I should be at least half way through by then)

That’s about it for now. It’s long for some people, but I’ll be happy to get half done.  That’s just the way things go sometimes.
